Solomon Shuangyu LIANG, a Bachelor of Art (2021) in History at Boston University, was mainly engaged in data collection and research interviews for the CHCD. As a native Chinese born and raised in a multicultural family, he is able to understand several Chinese dialects. Since spring 2020, he has been mostly responsible for investigating geographical locations across China and researching additional history about churches in China. His work has been supported by several UROP grants and a UROP Summer Humanities Grant (2020). He is the recipient of the BU UROP’s “Outstanding Student Researcher Award” for Summer 2020. He is now attending JD programme (2021) in CUHK and occasionally assists in training for our partner teams.
